EQ, user interface redesign

EQ is a car repair estimation system, developed for panel beater shops in Australia. We created the new design for the EQ interface and developed the front-end.

EQ is a car repair estimation system, developed for panel beater shops in Australia. The assessor enters data into the system about the owner of a damaged car, car parts that need repairing, and the car’s general condition. Based on this information, assessor evaluates the repair cost and saves the estimate in the database.

Our task was to carry out a complete redesign of the old EQ interface to make it more convenient and clear for the users.

Screen Interactive created the new design for the EQ interface and developed the front-end. We hid the additional fields under expanding tabs to make forms look neater, and we also significantly improved the general structure of the interface.

The technologies we used for development are:
Sass, Compass, Jade, SVG, Icon-fonts, CSS3/HTML5, JavaScript, BEM Methodology.
